The Monday update...
Pow: Erin and I tried to go to a new class at our gym today, Oriental Dance, but for some inexplicable reason, we literally could not find the class. It was supposed to start at 6:30, and we got their in plenty of time. We watched a few other people sign in for the class and signed in ourselves with no problem. But then when we went to find the room, we couldn't find the right class anywhere. The guy at the desk had no idea, neither did any of the instructors, and none of the other people signed up for the class were to be found. After we got sent back and forth between buildings and looked in every single room in the gym with no luck, we gave up and went to Fitness-Gymnastik (an aerobics/strength training class) instead. No word on what ever happened to Oriental Dance....
Wow: The European directors of Campus Crusade for Christ were in Berlin today visiting, so I finally got to meet them after hearing about them all year. They come from Ireland, the Netherlands and Spain call themselves the Three Amigos. I didn't get much personal interaction with the Amigos, but they all seem like really great guys with huge hearts for the ministry in Europe. The Amigo from Spain, Javier, arrived at our meeting a little late because his flight was delayed. When he got there, he headed straight for the coffee table and went, "First is the first." I assume he meant "first things first," but you can't argue with coffee first, I guess.
