This week, I'm participating in the Uni-MAT, a meeting for all of the people who work with the CfC campus ministry in Germany, and it's a very good exercise in learning a new culture. The general thought in America is that Germans are highly efficient people. The Uni-MAT is direct evidence against that. I offer for you as evidence our schedule from yesterday:
12-1 p.m. Lunch
1-3 p.m. Break
3-3:30 p.m. Coffee and cake
3:30-5 p.m. Meeting
5-5:30 p.m. Break
5:30-6:30 p.m. Meeting
6:30-10 p.m. Dinner and hanging out
Not that I'm complaining. I mean, who wouldn't want 3 hours of break ti
